  • Same problem... :( I spent all my Christmas and birthday money on this, I had only a SD TV and I was really excited to get HD and 3D. Sigh. I got the warranty, but I won't be able to drive to get my new one in 2 weeks. But that doesn't really bother me, but bothers me is that this is a common problem. Will I ever get a good HD 3D TV from the warranty that will last for years and years to come?

  • I just had someone call about it 5 mins ago. I hadnt heard anything about this problem until then.

  • Had mine less than a month same issue....just got a new one from newegg, had it for TWO DAYS and the screen went black for a few seconds last night. That's exactly how the last one started. I think I have been royally fucked out of four hundred bucks. Man I thought microsoft ripped you off.....

  • I am getting the same issue it is a little over a month old and it stopped working last night please any help would be fantastic

  • thats not an error. read the instructions booklet, it says the display automatically switches off when there is no input. saves power

  • I got the same problem last night. I did the same thing. Emailed and called Sony. I have yet to get a respond.

  • yup these tvs dont last too long... i had one before the one i have now and the same exact shit happened too me... i think sony fucked us hard..

  • I'm not sure what caused the display to do this. But this is what I did to mine. I added a fan in the back vents to pull the warm air out. There is no telling if something is overheating. The Xbox360 did that and had that red circle of death. I also unplug the display from the wall outlet after I'm done playing a game. So far, my display works fine.

  • @jeremyyyyns I know how to fix it!!! It happened to me. Try holing down all of the buttons at once untill it turns on. Tell me if it doesn't work.

  • @thefirstplayaplay i know how to fix it!!! It happened to me. Try holding all of the buttons down at once untill it turns on. Tell me if it doesn't work.
