Cessna's New Corvalis TTx at Sun 'n Fun

The breakout star of the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In thus far is Cessna's new Corvalis TTx, which features sharp-looking leather interiors and an ultra-modern Garmin Intrinsic avionics package. Cessna Aircraft's Kirby Ortega showed us the high points during a break in the rain on the first day of the show.

Are they still going to build it after the Mexico/de-lamination problem with the wing? I was looking for it online, and all mention of it has been removed from the Cessna web site...its just gone.

Ahhh cool, but still made in Mexico. Love to stick my head in that plane and inspect it. Oh well, moving on... and yes, We at Columbia had plans for RG. The Aircraft would only pick up 3-4 knots. lots of added weight, do the math if you like. I do NOT like the plastic control stick, liked the look of the real wood.

@jdpainter 100% aesthetics. Same reason i like Boeing over Airbus, F22 over JSF, Spitfire over Mustang, Mooney over Bonanza... completely subjective sure but IMHO an aircraft of this cost and caliber should at least have the option of RG.
