Well, the truth behind your so called brainwashed Chinese is quite simple:
Once Tibet is indepednet, there will be an ethnic cleaning on any non-tibetan ethnic or tibetan ethnic who do not support Dalai (the so called Red or Communicst Tibetan). So, there will defintely will be a bloody ethnic war. Every Chinese is aware about it. Therefore they support Chinese government on this issue, even they may dislike it neither.
