This stuff was debunked a loooong time ago. It was proven the rabbis were breaking their own rules for the experiment to achieve desired results, and that the same thing can be done in ANY book with any number of algorithms. This is a new low even for Mr. Beck.

I love God and I feel he exists. But the bible is an other thing. I feel the bible is a book that was way over our head for a long time. But not anymore since modern science. This is very dififficult for some people to digest. So they come up with something very clever. They decide to create something new. An extension to the bible that is again way over our head and not to verify. "significant" only means something if all agree. I think :-)

You say "highly qualified mathematicians and statisticians". I wonder what their names are and their background. Just to check whether they have double agenda's. Are they investigating something or are they just eager to seek evidence for what they believe ?

So let's assume this is true.

Then I have a simple question: Why oh why would god ( or anyone ) have decided some 2000 years ago that in the bible should be written what Glenn Beck would be doing on August 24, 2011 ? What's the purpose ? And IF it should be important, why not just write it down instead of hiding it in some weird code that can only be read by computers ?
