This is not apoptosis. Apoptosis is neat and tidy cell death, everything is packaged up and disposed of in an orderly fashion.
This is necrosis -- breaking apart and spilling its contents.
(But I'm wondering if this is really a video of cellular suicide, or if its osmosis of distilled water into a blood cell, making it swell and explode?)

are you sure this is apoptosis? I thought apoptosis occures by membrane blebbing, but what we see here is cell disruption...it sort of explodes.
