DOWN 8.8 LBS. Glad TOM finally arrived. Nothing to worry about except the cravings I have during this time. I will be off the Hcg during these few days, but will inject a smaller amount-125 IU instead of 200. I can always add more if necessary. Made some great chili last night using all homegrown tomatoes. It was great on a cool fall evening. Our St. Louis Cardinals won the central division! Yeah!!!
Busy with football games and trying to stay on track. Later everyone!!!

  • Gosh--you're on day 9 already??? You are doing great and looking so different. I started dosing at 150iu, very hungry--increased to 175iu and seem to be much better.

    That's too funny about your friend--doesn't it feel like we're part of a "secret" club? We need a handshake or something--maybe a T-shirt that says, "I live for loading days" or something! :)

  • 3. 5 oz. lean burger 93/7 browned then add following 6-7 oz. chopped tomato-fresh 1/2 cup water or more if needed season with chili powder 1 T dehydrated onions 1 T garlic powder 1t salt/pepper- to tase dash of worcestershire sauce dash cayenne pepper dash ground cumin cook over medium low for 45-minutes to blend flavors-add more water if needed. Enjoy!
  • Yay Beth! 8.8 is fabulous! I have heard from quite a few 2nd rounders now, that you get sick of the food faster and battle cravings more.... I was going to load again on Thanksgiving for round 2, but worry about cravings over the holidays a bit.

    Anyway, congrats on your loss, and TOM is a meanie! Apple day for me tomorrow. ;(

  • Sometimes it's just easier to do it during a holiday. Easy for me to say-I'll be done by Thanksgiving. I was on it for 4th of July and a trip to Memphis-not to mention baseball games and beer. I have to "Just say no" to my drug of choice-carbs. I have come to realize carbs are my enemy for life. You can use stevia and heavy creams for delicious desserts, but not flour. You will have to see what works best for you! True for RD2, but results worth it!

  • Beth your ground beef is exactly what I make minus the worcestershire sauce (it has sugar in it and I couldnt find the kind without it) but I made this same recipe up last round and have loved it ever since. That is what Im having today! YUMMY! Great job on the 8.8!!

  • Thanks, Beth. It'll good for me to be on a structured program like P2 over the holidays.... otherwise I may let things slide a little too much. I do look forward to Phase 3, but I am not dying over it. Carbs are not my friends, either. AND I lost today.. so no "apple day" after all! =)

  • It sounds like you are doing great! Keep us posted as to how the lower dosage works with the hunger.
