the one thing that i don't understand is why the mom and Guang Xi(who is the father) can't donate. Realisticly speaking it should be the other way around. You look into the closest family members first if the blood supply is empthy because their most ikely to have the same type as the child. Your mom, dad and siblings first. It's the same principle as to when your looking for a doner for a cancer patient. They best chance of survival is through blood relatives.
