@GymFITUSA : Yes, for recording you have to use any DAW (Sequencer) software like Cubase, Logic, GarageBand, Sonar......which supports Plug-Ins.

@GymFITUSA: The virtual instrument (Gu Zheng) has to be installed on a PC or a Mac. The keyboard is connected via USB or MIDI and controls/plays the sound in the computer.

Any MIDI keyboard with 61 keys works also very well. If you have a smaller one you have to transpose by octaves in some cases

Okay, i got garageband to find the engine but when i try to play with the keyboard it is silent. It will record the notes but I cannot hear the notes when using the m-audio keyboard. any ideas? what setup is the gentleman using in the video? Thank you.
