Cloud & Tifa - Broken Strings

Before you all panic, this is NOT a CloTi. Come on, you know me by now surely! :P But its not bashing anyone either. Dont comment against Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Clerith or CloTi please and thank you :)

Grey clips = Memories(Either night before or 5 years before but you'll know if you read the story which is which)
Sepia = What Should Have Been.

Story:

It begins with Cloud and Tifa having an argument. Tifa feels that Cloud doesn't appreciate her enough and that what was once a perfect relationship in her opinion, is now falling apart.
Everything started to go down hill when Tifa found out Cloud was having an affair. He was drifting away from her and Tifa couldn't stand to lose him, so she lied and told him she was pregnant, knowing Cloud would stay with her.
Cloud did 'the right thing' and married Tifa but Tifa has a 'miscarriage'. Cloud seemed to accept it but Tifa knew he was thinking of Aerith all the time and after five years of being consumed with guilt she admits it was all a lie.
Cloud leaves and Tifa searches frantically for him, wanting just one more chance to prove that they can be together and wanting to explain why she had done what she had. But when she finds him, Cloud runs off and Tifa can't keep up.
Depressed and lonely, she goes to Church to think and 'confess her sins' when she feels like she's being watched. She turns and sees a young girl looking at her. Tifa can see instantly that this is Cloud and Aerith's little girl.
She asks her where her mother is and the little girl tells her that her mother is dead and she lives with her stepdad, who then appears. Tifa doesnt like the look of him and can see the fear around the girl. She sees this as her chance to make everything right and fights Loz.
But she's no match for him and he flings her aside easily, before turning to Marlene. Tifa tries to get up to protect her but her strength has left her. Then the door opens and Cloud walks in, Tifa screams the Cloud is Marlene's real Dad and as he looks at her, he can see Aerith in her.
Tifa gets up and finishes off Loz, leaving Cloud and Marlene free to leave. She watches them go, a smile on her face because at last, he's happy and she is free to get her own happiness again.
Cloud and Tifa end up being friends in the end, with Tifa getting phone calls from him.
