its sad your blaming a drug that could help you if you needed it but its not the drug its the user or the people who brought them to the place to do the drugs witch is peirpresure and yes teens can get them easyily but its once again the persons descion to do what they wont and im not being a ass im just saying cuz ive lost a brother and a sister to over dose and ive realized this years ago be for it all went to shit

Your comment was not only juvenile but spoken and spelled like true addict. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your siblings. One would think that if this was truly the case, one would be more sensitive to the issue and an advocate to cause. But I suppose we shouldn't expect anything less from someone with a screen name such as you.

Good post. This is a good campaign to let people know, especially young adults, the threat of prescription drugs to health if it's abused.

I live right next door to where Jim Jones' family lives. Every day I walk past his house and see the candles in their front yard. It makes me sad.

My daughter graduated from Canby 3 years ago. We have a very open relationship, Thank God, she told me that many of the teens were having what they called "pharm party's". The teens would gather drugs from medicine cabinets, meet, and throw them all together and the kids would pick what pill or pills they wanted to take. I urge all parent to speak openly and honestly with their children!!! and please keep open communications!!!

The two most prescribed medications are pain killers and anti-depressants. Its so sad that people are so misinformed
