RockInducedLabor, gonzo journalism, rockinducedlabor.com. Death of the CD, or is it? Tours making more money than g0d. Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bon Jovi, U2, a summary of 2006 touring figures.
Although 3 years have passed since the video, the trend continues. A typical top debut album in 2009 sells around 150,000 copies. Bon Jovi is planning another big tour for 2010, and instead of Madonna (who broke her own records in 2008 and 2009), we'll have the return of Whitney Houston (who also doesn't get much radio play anymore despite her aspired comeback.) Live concerts for many of these acts really make it feaudalistic for fans.
Haha its actually because of getting albums off of itunes and the internet not because of touring
