Gowcaizer Anime - Karin's missing scene

This scene from the OVA was cut from the movie release.

Yeah, alot of the cuts were really stupid but this one pisses me off. Karin already got shafted on screentime in the anime and then they cut her one moment of cool?! The worst part is that, with this scene cut, all that's left is Karin getting captured and rescued by Shaia. SHAIA! They make SHAIA look more effectual than Karin! Shaia being the lazy bitch who just has her damn robot do everything for her. Even in the game she barely fights!

Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer: Great idea, horrible execution in both game and anime form.

Karin's HOT! Yeah, and many of the other characters from the video game didn't make it to the big screen. Brider didn't get much of a part and Captain Atlantis went MIA in this film.

What's interesting is that there's an anime Promotional Video for the game that features ALL the characters and is WAY better animated. I swiped it off of YouTube awhile ago. May have to re-upload it since it appears to have vanished and is too awesome NOT to have here.

My guess is they got shafted for time and budget constraints, or Masami Ohbari probably wanted more focus on the shameless, borderline hentai T&A from the lead female characters (which he delivers in great gusto).

Eh...doesn't make much sense. Pretty certain the OVAs came first and the movie was just cut down from them. As such they made very very bad choices on what to keep and what to cut :P

Based on the quality of animation during this scene, maybe it was cut because it made the rest of the movie look horribly cheap in comparison. =P

@revueltas28jr Replying to a 9 month old comment, but still! I think it was censored because of the bloody impaling of the soldiers. Think about it, Karin and Shaia's butts are on show all the time, not to mention all the other nude scenes. This has nothing to do with her butt lol
