How can anyone blame the whale? he is a wild animal kept in a cage... you might take the beast out of the wild but you will never tame the wild out of the beast...it is a chance anyone who works with wild animals takes and very few if any would want that beautiful animal harmed.

Squeeblie if you look real close when it first happened she was trying to get it to the trainer and he shook his head ! I can assure this was an accident and I was there not long ago and that trainer is still in the tank with the whales. I admire him very much that he knew that this attack was not don't intentionally !

Captivity will never provide ANYTHING that WILD animals need to survive. They are slaves, they lose their will to live. We learn as much from watching captive animals as we do studying humans by visiting a prison.

Have you watched the movie The Cove? You must be unaware that majority of these creatures are captured in Japan while their families are brutally murdered in front of them. Japan is the root of the problem but having marine parks is what feeds the need for capture. Did you know that Orcas have NEVER killed a human in the wild...and that they up to 60 years in the wild compared to 25 in captivity. Captivity kills.
