This issue was a several decades possibly a hundred years old when Sir John A MacDonald became the first prime minister. It is obvious who the guilty party is in this issue. If natives tried to claim Toronto and used these same tactics they would immediatly be arrested and rightly so. That fact Canadian leadership doesn't act strongly is a subconscious admission that they know they are wrong.

Well just started my summer job at the band office $30 an hour library assistant federal money. so i don't have to report that to welfare. i don't know what i'd do without welfare. i know i wouldn't have those new 17 " hankook tires for my avalanche. or the nice tint on my windows. or the $1500 in tax rebate for paying rent on a house i don't live at. what am i going to spend my $10'000 in casino money on this year. it's not all take i give old clothes to salvation for the poor white folks.

Hello Says - In 1979 a native I know left the Cape Crocker reservation, which is located north of Owen Sound. He now lives in Oshawa, where he worked at General Motors. Even with only a grade six education, he knew enough to leave the reservation. Not once did I ever hear him get into the "hate the white man" complaining. Outside of the land issues, he realized that any education the natives had, was provided by the British who settled in Canada, and the job he had was because of a US company.

Hello says - Anyone who tells the truth about a particular culture (in our politically correct society) is always labelled a racist. Bush came from a wealthy family, and the wealth allowed him to become involved in politics, is that what you are talking about? Obama was born into a poor family, and he is president, so there is hope for people born with nothing. I left home at sixteen without a dollar in my pocket, and I established a normal life.
