@jrk987 The snatch pull is a preparatory exercise for the full snatch. Like other compound exercises it involves multiple muscle groups. The first part is essentially a deadlift. That targets lower back muscles and traps. Then the pull with the snatch grip really works his traps even more. Good accessory work for building up to bigger snatches.
