A couple laps around the advanced track at BPG. 5-31-2010. Riders: Rob Reffner on a 1999 YZ125; Jeff Bihlman with the helmetcam on a 1999 YZ400F. The camera is a VholdR ContourHD 720P with the goggle strap mount being used.

does this bike got the original motor?

@TraxxasTM33 Yep all original. The only changes we ever did to it, that I can really remember, was changing the main jet in the carb to help a backfiring/popping issue that was common on these. I keep up on maintenance with frequent oil changes and cleaning the air filter...seems to keep this bike going forever!

i have two question. what gear are you in and how long have u been riding?

@TheBlood151 The yellow gloves are Shift, boots are Alpinestars Tech 6's I believe. Jersey and Pants are Thor Core, probably from 2009 or something. I just bought the jersey and pants from Dennis Kirk on a closeout deal for super cheap. In total been riding for about 13-14 years. I've been riding this 400F since 1999.

@quadkindaguy Do you ride one also? I've been amazed how well it still runs being this old. Sure I would love a 2010 450F but hell I see no reason to upgrade as long as this one keeps on performing like it does.

@netdemon01 hell yea. even tho its only a 400 they seem no difrent compared to a 450 for the most part. and i hear ya on that why get rid of the old when theirs no need to. and also what size jet did you change yours to because of the backfirring

how come the advanced track looks much more smoother dirt wise than the intermediate track?

@netdemon01 yea i traded my old banshee for it about a month ago and the thing runs amazing and yea i hear ya on the 2010 but ur right tthiers no reason to upgrade yet
