I think they must start with education. All the good luck building your country.

Oh dear. These guys spent a year making their film and distilled their findings into this trite, mocking, patronizing, glib, shallow quasi-comedy, complete with cutesy music track and subtitles for those troublesome African English accents. "How Not to Make a Film about Very Serious Issues Millions Sacrificed Their Lives For", more like. Quelle honte.

I think alot of South Sudanese are going to have to create their own opportunities. Hopefully our gov will encourage entreprenuership unlike other african countries that make it sooo hard for a person to start their own business.

LOL, have you been to Juba? I think there are more foeigners there than Sudanese. Everywhere you look, an ethiopian coffee shop, an ugandan diner, a rwandan tailor shop, a nigerian movie store. But i don't mind i quite like it, I think its really benefical for Juba to have so many people flocking to start a business there :)

I think your speaking of Abyei? Yeah both Sudan and South Sudan claim it as their own but as you can tell by the word Abyei is not arabic, it is Dinkaland, the same for Panthou. Sudan only wants them because they are oil rich territories, South Sudan wants them because they are our people.

Having English as our offical language is really screwing us over :/ 87% of the population cant speak it! lol When we were part of Sudan the offical language was arabic and alot of South Sudanese speak that much better but English was believed to give us a better "advantage" in the world when we came out on our own. Maybe so but seriously lol. As for how this video was made ignore it, its typical of the western mindset and they'll regret such an attitude within the coming decades.

Umm actually only one of our neighbors hates us lol, Sudan. We get on good terms with the rest, ex.) most of our imported food right now comes from Uganda, we are building an oil pipline that runs through Kenya that should be finished by 2014) and we've always been close partners with Ethiopia, we signed the peace treaty there :) We're lucky to have such good neighbors, although having Sudan for a neigbor often threatens our stability as they often fund conflict groups in our northern region :/
