Handel Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 1 as preformed by the Chamber Ensemble in the Spring Concert of 2009. the soloists are Jenna Anglin and Marjory Haraguchi on violin and Maia Johnstone on cello.

Very admirable, but slower tempo and more intonation.

Very nice! However, if it had been played slightly slower I would have enjoyed even more! Slowing the tempo would allow for the hearer to feel the energy from the solo. When I play the first movement as a 2nd violin in the morning, my heart flutters with the amazing sound that the 1st produce. Thats what wakes me up and feel good in the morning

Very nice playing. The 'soloists' should be sitting within the orchestra though. This is not really a double violin concerto as such and they look a litle silly standing right at the front. Perhaps the whole orchestra should stand with violin 1 and violin 2 tutti and soloists facing each other.
