umm
well with this one what they did different is that instead of each character getting a turn to attack, different buttons control different characters, you can alternate triangle and X so that you can keep pulling off multi hit combos for more dmg, and O controls your reyvatail (which is your songtress, and main form of dmg/support in the first game)
i feel like they toned down the dependancy on the reyvatails, but i havent gotten too far into the game to really explain much more
