Tracks from the Hippodrome.
The Hippodrome was situated in Middleton Manchester and in the early Nineties was promoted by Clash and then by Amnesia House.
At it's peak it had 1300 - 1500 people attending every Friday and Saturday night. rocking to the classic tunes back in the day and some of the rarer gems that you wouldnt hear in mainstream oldskool sets.
Resident DJ's were Fri - The Excellant Jay Wearden and Sat - The equally Excellant Moggy.

Oh my giddy aunt, anybody have memorys of following Jay Wearden on to the Riverside at Hyde/Denton, after Hippos? The Mild was right lol
