Downtown Toronto Feed the Homeless Sandwich Run (AMAZING!)

This is an idea that I have had for a long time now (I'm the asian guy in the video), and that is to get people from all walks of life to meet up and pass out sandwiches to the homeless in downtown Toronto where I live.

As we all know, homelessness continues to be a big problem in many of our large urban centres and Toronto is no different. It rests on us, the citizens through these small, seemingly insignificant actions to make a difference in the lives of these marginalized people.

So please watch, comment, favorite and send it to your Torontonian and non-Torontonian friend alike. If you are in the southern Ontario area and want to help out with the next event, I have posted my facebook group for your to join. The next event will be in less than a week on the 13th of August. Come on out!

@Takrushi Well by throwing food at these people all you're doing is stabilizing their self-destructive lifestyle so they don't have to change. Maybe instead of being fed, they could be helped with showering somewhere, then they could be helped to find work. It does nothing to feed them other than keep them more comfortable where they're at - which is not what helps.

@TheHoodwrecker And what place would hire a person with no means of showering and no stable address? It's not that simple, if it were you wouldn't hear about homelessness.

This is a terrible idea. Great way to help keep the homeless numbers from going down. Why get a job when there's a bunch of do-gooder kids willing to feed you?

our Christian group in school is having a sandwhich run also...

this video will encourage them too.

This made me cry, i swear. its good what u guys doing, keep doing so, cuz u knw what? we only have one life to live, its jus best to jus try to make another persons in need happier. makes me think of how life is so unfair 2, people have food wasting everyday, and look!!! there are some who cant have a good day's meal. my gosh. hmmm.
