@Libertylover1969 This whole concert/performance piece was SUPER moving. I think given any political leanings, you MUST appreciate the enormity of Obama winning the election and what it meant to a country to help heal it's self inflicted wounds. I can look at this concert and think it a little over board, but no, it was a BIG deal, and will always have been a big deal and great day for America.

It sucks for the military band members that's sitting right against the stage and can't turn to see them.... but then again I guess its better than being deployed to (at that time) Iraq, Iran, or Afghanistan.

@thejonte1 Obama isn't necessarily a bad president. I think a lot of the criticism/negativity he receives comes from the republican party's propaganda machine and a lot also comes from unrealistic democrats that thought he could get the US out of the mess Bush created in a single term. I will vote for him again in the 2012 election (because the Republican candidates just don't look that good. Without having to worry about reelection, I hope he'll take a harder stance against the Republicans

I never heard about this performance until I just stumbled upon it, then again, I was hiding from politics from the time Ron Paul lost the 2008 Republican primaries and McCain emerged as the choice of so-called Conservatives.
That said, being no fan of Obama. . . This was a moving performance. U2 playing the Lincoln Memorial. Wow! Not bad Paul! Not bad Dave! Way to go Larry and Adam. It seems the dream you had, came true too!
