What's in your wallet? After watching this video, I guarantee you will think twice before tossing out those annoying pennies! It is said that these zinc coated steel pennies are not worth much because there were so many made back in 1943 - even so, only once have I come across this silver- looking penny. And that was decades ago!
However, the 1943 copper penny is the one that is highly sought after... find out more in video, including testing for authenticity.

i found one by accident! I had a bunch of change, I keep most mine for one of those days ya need a couple bucks. but any how I was moving and swiped a bunch of my change off a desk and into a box that had some other stuff in it. well when I was unpacking i noticed a penny stuck to amagnet. i was soo puzzled. cause it kinda looked like a normal red penny. I lived right on the coast, it was coroded. I cleaned it up, it is in poor shape but I still keept it.

Any Incubus fans out there?
I was invited to attend a 'private' performance where I met the band members!
It's now featured on my channel (if interested)

I didn't research, but I do know that nearly all USA coins are made with 2 or more metal alloys (components)
Zinc has been used in the production of various coins - the percentage used fluctuates from time to time
