What's in your wallet? After watching this video, I guarantee you will think twice before tossing out those annoying pennies! It is said that these zinc coated steel pennies are not worth much because there were so many made back in 1943 - even so, only once have I come across this silver- looking penny. And that was decades ago!
However, the 1943 copper penny is the one that is highly sought after... find out more in video, including testing for authenticity.

  • PLEASE NOTE

There continues to be a big misunderstanding about which penny is worth more (I get countless comments from confused people)

IT IS THE 1943 COPPER PENNY (feel free to research this topic on your own)

  • Any Incubus fans out there?

I was invited to attend a 'private' performance where I met the band members!

It's now featured on my channel (if interested)

  • I didn't research, but I do know that nearly all USA coins are made with 2 or more metal alloys (components)

Zinc has been used in the production of various coins - the percentage used fluctuates from time to time
