1.09 - Be Gentle With My Fragile Heart

Nathan and Haley are in her room, making out. Things are going fine until Nathan starts to unbutton her shirt and Haley gets a flashback of her ex-boyfriend cheating on her. (The girl he is with is NOT Brooke.) She stops things before they can go any further and asks Nathan to leave. Nathan, who is completely confused tries to get her to explain but she doesn't budge and asks him once again to leave. Nathan then leaves, hurt and mad.

Lucas then sees Peyton at school. She waves at him, trying to still be friends, even though Lucas said they couldn't be. Lucas then walks over to her and asks if they can talk and she blows him off, saying that he's the one who didn't wanna be friends anymore.

Later that day, Brooke goes over to Dean's. She starts to confess about her true feelings and tells him that she can't hide them anymore. Dean then kind of blows her off and she gets mad and tells him that he's the one who kissed her. He tells her that was just an honest mistake and she's very hurt. She tells him that she can't believe he's actually saying those words and that she didn't expect him to be like that. He doesn't know what to say and asks her to leave.

That night, Brooke goes to a party, a party which both Lucas and Peyton also attended. In her drunken state, she dares Peyton to kiss Lucas. Peyton, who is a little embarrassed, is very reluctant at first but when Brooke keeps pushing she finally kisses Lucas.

During that kiss, Dean and Sam are driving along and drive past the house where the kids are having a party. Sam witnesses the whole kiss and feels incredibly betrayed.

Peyton quickly walks away after the kiss, realizing she may have feelings for Lucas.

The next day, Nathan is over at Haley's, she's cooking dinner for them. Nathan tries to get her to open up about the whole Chris thing but Haley won't. He gets frustrated with her and tells her that they're in an actual relationship now and that she has to be honest with him. She tells him it's a sore subject and Nathan, upset that she won't tell him the actual truth, walks out.

Dean then visits Brooke and he starts to apologize and confess about his true feelings. He tells her that he was just afraid and he didn't wanna admit to them but he does have feelings for her. She forgives him and they make love.

I can't believe how unappreciated your videos are! This gotta be one of the most awesome, acute and believable job in AU and editing.

Please, don't give on this series. I'm quite hooked on this story and I think it's worth the job you must go through to get it done.
