@atnipjoe My kickstand broke in just under a month and I'm constantly having to reseat the silicone taking the phone out of my pocket or the clip. I'm going to try the Trident Kraken series.

the rubber silicone on the otterbox does become loose over time I started having problems with the volume down and volume up buttons but it was a very good case the kickstand on the back though is very weak and fragile but otterbox will replace your case with a lifetime warranty

I have the otterbox for a bout a year and I do like it a lot but I recently purchase the trident with the clear back an extended battery it looks really cool plus I get the advantages of having an extended battery in a case that is no bigger than the otterbox it's actually a little bit shorter in length and I recommend that case to anyone

dont forget the fact that the otterbox defender series is the highest protection level otterbox goes, while tridnets highest protection level case is not the cyclops but the kraken series
it should be Defender = Kraken
while Commuter = cyclops

I had both the ballistic and the Trident case and the Trident is better by far. I have a clip for my Cyclops case so the rubber never comes off. But I will agree if u put it in ur pocket it will come off. The otter box is over rated. The kick stand is crap, the rubber comes off while it is sitting in the holster and the way it goes into the holster is stupid. If u want a decent case get the Cyclops and a clip for it. I've been using mine for 6 months and have no complaints

The kickstand finally just fell off with no use at all. I have also noticed the silicone wrap is pealing back more easily and I am having to reseat it a couple times a day.

The kickstand on the Otterbox has developed some cracks and doesn't look like it will be holding up. In fact, I have not used the kickstand other than in the video. The case has not been dropped, so I am not sure how the cracking has happened.
