Parody lyric by FRED LANDAU; Parody-story editor: JULIE MILLER. (*)Yes, we know The Kinsey Sicks already used the parody title "You're Scaring Us" on their 2003 album, but it's used here with their OK!

Contact info for the parody: Fred Landau at dylan43rd@aol.com

Apologies to Will Swenson for my misspelling his name in the sing-along lyrics, and to Gavin Creel because a great shot of him dancing on an armrest somehow got cut!

Vocals & vocal arrangement by LEENYA RIDEOUT

Parody of the 2009 Broadway revival of HAIR and the song "Aquarius" by Galt MacDermot, James Rado and Gerome Ragni

  • I KNOW SOMEONE IN THAT SHOW!! i took my friends to see it and one of them got face humped and she wasn't scared! in fact she thought it was hilarious! now... HAIR IS A SHOW WHERE PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOW YOU GUYS!!! ITS ONLY EXPECTEDD TO BE INVOLVED!!

  • Vampire, unless you're putting me on, I'm sorry you're taking this parody that way. On the chance you're serious: I've adjusted some of the info on YouTube to make even more clear that this is a parody.

  • Hilarious! I love it! `Way to go guys!

  • Swenson, not Swensen

When I saw it I did SRO and the tribe slapped my ass and Will put his arms around me and my friends. I loved it haha.

    But this is hilarious.

  • I just saw Hair and Will Swenson practically gave me a lap dance and asked me to hold his pants lol, which i did for a few scenes. coolest guy ever and at the part where the audience dances on stage after the curtain call i hugged him and danced with him and he was super great :) Shame the cast is going to London soon.

  • You don't have to sit up front. I was in the very last row and I got to dance on stage!

  • OMG. HILARIOUS

  • I suppose... except I really liked the way they do it. It's so fun. I don't think it's especially scary. But good parody. :)

  • hahaha

  • wack lol

  • Very cute and oh so true. I love a show to tansport me, but I don't want to be in it!!!

  • Funny. But when I go to see the revival, I'm sitting up right front so I can get up on the stage and dance.
