Stevie Hawkins is the winner for "Best Jazz Artist" in the 2012 Artists In Music Awards. He was nominated "Best Blues Artist" in the 2012 Artists In Music Awards. Thanks to everyone who voted, to Mikey Jayy - awards producer, and to the judges.
In this video, Stevie consoles with The Monk King from the Planet Funk-It-Be about what he should do about the nominations. As Stevie sings and plays the blues on his drums, he entertains the notion that he is too old and ugly to stay in the running. Hence, his extended shout-out for support from people globally to "Vote For The Ugly Man!" From Stevie moaning the blues, to a jumping cow, this video is good for a few laughs.
NOTE: The "Beverly Hillbillies" clips and the "Croon Crazy" cartoon clips in this video are in the public domain.
The song "High Time" is the title cut from a Stevie Hawkins blues CD release.
