Yep Chains always down tunes half a step. This sounds like that or its drop D. The song reminds me of frogs kinda but it doesn't bother me. I'd rather have them sound sound like themselves rather than Comes with the fall.
the chord riff does not have the same tuning as junkhead...infact this is the first time they have ever tuned it i think from an up step of a bard chord n the riff line is def different. as far as Sabbath, all progression of doom tunes down and follow that chord progression...jus as blues stays within the same tuning...all blues artists do. There is most def a Sabbath influence n they r lovers of them n so am i. I think this song mixes changes that i have missed from bands that soft to thrash <3
i don't think this is bad actually, cuz Jerry has his own unique style, and can do a lot of crazy experimental shit, i would love to buy this album, but in fucking ukraine there will be no chance lol...
i think we'll hear some songs wich will show us some random improvisation and flight of Jerry's thoughts ;)
im amazed you go such great audio from that show. it was loud as hell in there. Great show THANK YOU for posting this.

Haha... you've just got it ;)))
there's some of self-copiyng in AiC songs (like in the beggining of "A looking in view" there's a tune from "Junkhead"
but that's not bad... also AiC payed some tribute (at least i hope so) to Black Sabbath, they copied a few of their tunes (2 at least) like almost 90%
sorry for bad eng >:o(
