1975-1976 at WNBY 1450am Newberry Michigan, they had an old mono version of what the GM called "THE WEDGE" RCA wedge. He also used ceramic cartridges in the turntables until I convinced him that Shures wouldn't scratch the cues. They still did but did it a lot less and tracking weight was lower. Pictures of the Gates board he later got on my facebook page. But nothing else changed.

Thanks for posting I love seeing old vintage broadcast equipment like this. I was on at a High School radio station in Indianapolis in the late 70's early 80's.

We had one at WBRU(FM)Providence RI for a long time.My current station, WVCH, has 2 of them.. one was used on air and the other was cannibalized for parts.
