After spending a couple days railfanning around Ohio with Rich and Wyatt, they went off with Drew for the day while I hung around home and went to work. Afterward, the two returned to Maple Heights as we departed for Greenville, PA, to pick up Jon Clark and head to Edinboro for the night. The next day, the 29th, we'd chase the Bessemer from Conneaut to Saxonburg, meeting up with Jake and Dave Trenn along the way. Then, on the 30th, we'd follow the WNYP ME-2 from Meadville to Corry. Enjoy!

12-29-11

We start off by heading to Conneaut to pick up the Bessemer, ready for a long chase south.

12-30-11

We awoke early on Friday, and thanks to a quick phone conversation with Chris Southwell (dumbuff), our agenda was set. We headed to Meadville for breakfast at Tim Horton's and to await the departure of the Falconer-bound ME-2.

Unfortunately, we discovered a screw in our right front tire at Corry, and thus the chase came to an end. Luckily, it was a quick and cheap patch job in town, and we decided to head north to the lake shore to see what we could get before it was time for the long haul home.

Thanks for watching! It's certainly been a year to remember, and hopefully 2012 is even better!

  • The clip from Orr Rd is missing. Just figure I'd point that out since its in the info.

  • 430 is the best. She's still looking pretty healthy for her age. Fucking best train and horn that will ever ride the rails.

  • Cool trains and horns at nice locations. Thumbs up! :)

  • WICKED!!! Superb coverage!!! Well done!

  • Great way to end 2011. Nice catches Cody
