Anthony Peake studied Sociology and History at The University of Warwick and at post-graduate level at The London School of Economics. He is a professional member of The Scientific & Medical Network, The International Association of Near-Death Studies, the Society for Psychical Research and the Institute of Noetic Sciences. His first book Is There Life after Death? -- The Extraordinary Science Of What Happens When You Die has sold over 30,000 copies world-wide since its publication in July 2006. This book has been translated into various foreign languages with more foreign editions planned in the near future. This book contains a detailed explanation of his fascinating theory, which he terms Cheating The Ferryman. This theory has been described as one of the most provocative and innovative ideas of recent years. It suggests a totally new approach to the nature of consciousness and its relationship with the external world.

In the last two years he has given over 115 lectures across the UK and has been interviewed by dozens of radio stations across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.

Peake sounds so "obsessed/impressed" with the degrees people hold. That has nothing to do with consciousness!

On the contrary, those who follow the establishment's approved academic narrow pathway to obtain those "letters" have a more difficult time thinking outside the box than those who never had their brains crammed in that box.
