I'm a veteran of the Gulf war and Bosnia. My Grandpa got the purple heart in ww2. Im dam proud of that. But my father served in Vietnam. Its time America paid its dues to our country's real war hero's who were drafted and thrown into a no win situation. Politics. I salute all of you and im a Major. Thanks..Your generation made America GREAT. These videos are even a bit nerve racking for myself. Thanks again..........

@wilcarr1 Australia also shares that sad chapter and drafting was pretty much the same. When our Government tried to bring Australian troops back home, the Queen of England gave the Governor General power to sack our Prime Minister - a move that outraged every Australian. Sadly many lives were lost during that wrongful war.

Vietnam was a sad chapter in American history. Draftees who basicly fought the war as myself came from low income families unable to escape the draft unless you were ex-President William Jefferson Clinton who used a ruse that he was enrolling into the ROTC program at the University of Arkansas and then fled to England. 59,916 young me died in Vietnam and I was witness to some of this tragic loss with the 101st Abn Div Camp Evans. We did our duty because it was the law.
