This movie looks so stupid compared to the book. It looks like somebody took one too many hits of acid when they made this movie, just the trailer looks crappy already no where the type of mode that the book was situated in the first place.

@teargas500 so true. or they say "it's dated". Like WHAT is not? It's an experimental fine film. some flaws of its time, yes, but GREAT.

it's a masterpiece but is overlooked by pop culture because it's too weird and spiritual for the "pod people." even so called literary intellectuals don't appreciate it's brilliance. what a shame.
