What marcha is that? Picada?

He is marcha picada, but toward the center, so we could train him to do marcha batida, but my husband prefers marcha picada. He also has a smooth canter. His mother, Chanel de Miami passes her picada gait to all her foals.

In Germany most owners prefer marcha picada and a clear 4 step gait. You may hear a sound like tölt/tolt of iceland horses. I heard marcha picada is smoother than other marcha. Unfortunately the more gait a horse can do, the more difficult to ride all gait correctly.
