Actually, Closer was their 2nd album and Still was posthumous collection. Unknown Pleasures was their debut, from '79. I'm 25, from California, and discovered Joy Division a few years ago. I grew up with New Order. Joy Division is WAY better. New Order too poppy. Have CE of Closer

I order Control and the Joy Division doc on demand. They were both great. A have the collector's edition of Closer from Rhino Records. Bought it @ FYE

NICE, I only knew "love will tear us apart"
until I saw 'Control" last week. I love Transmission, great song.

I believe that only they have two discs: Closer (1980) and Still (1981). And a summary: Substance (1988), but Ian Curtis already had died. Joy Division is a band that has influenced to Interpol and Bloc Party.
