  • @sadakosghost Sounds like you have used a FET or MOSFET?

  • @sadakosghost the FET you're using might be dead or you inverted the drain with the source.

    Try using a 1-50 megaohm resistor between the gate and the source.

    The higher resistance the more sensitive will be but it will react a lot faster to the electric fields.

    Cascade from the FET to a bipolar (in darlington) and make a time base from it (a 1-10uF from the base to ground) to obtain a longer pulse from the led. ;)

  • can you cover the resistor with some sort of conductive material that looks nicer than just an exposed resistor?
