This song shows the brilliance of Marin P. Gaye; he expressed his pain and his point of view on a situation that unfortunately so many of us go thru in a way that we can all connect with. I do recall trying a million times, again and again and again.. I don't know when I stopped loving her I just did. RIP Marvelous Marvin, Say Hey Gaye

There's two sides to this story. This is Marvin's side. Anna has never told her side, but she later came to appreciate the genius of the 'Here, My Dear' album. Before Marvin died, they were straightening things out. Marvin and Anna still had love for each other even though their marriage ended unamicably.

Keith Sweat really wishes he could touch this. R kelly is into singing a totally different genre of r&b. Marvin just had soul and it was let me think about this kind of soul. He was one awesome brotha and can't no one touch this singing...He made this song for you to reflect how bad a person can put you through some S#!+!!!!
