Actually, there are three verses to this piece. Mr. Nabors sings two of them. The first verse, and the third. As mentioned by another poster, he does indeed eliminate the 2nd verse from his performance. He also makes some modifications to the score, but what singer doesn't? I have sung this several years in my church and it continues to be one of my favorites.

Thanks for posting this. He has one of the greatest tenor voices I`ve ever heard and he dosnt have to strain - it comes to him naturally, wher so amy other tenors have to force their voices to get the high noted,but not Jim.
