Freya was good but she got little screen time and was kinda forgotten near the end. And I disagree. There are plenty of respectable women in video games. Terra and Celes from FF6. Garnet was okay in FF9. Yuna seemed timid in FFX but was tough as bricks. But that's just in the Final Fantasy genre.
Tales of Symphonia's Sheena was good. And leaving JRPGs all together, no one could hate Elena Fisher from Uncharted.

@Caliwayz Yes, but she's not feminine, she's very masculinised for a female character. But that's the point of her.

She was so good in mine :O it was unreal.

I love her character, story and her theme....but she wasn't really effective in my team. I didn't focus on raising her.

well freya is not even in the picture how sad

@FreyaHarmony123 That's nothing yet. I still refuse to believe that Quina is a guy....

I think I liked freya too much to actually pay attention to the following characters' stories. :P
Time to play this masterpiece again...

Freya was my favorite character (well, besides Vivi) and this song is my favorite song from the soundtrack. Or is that "Place I'll return to someday" or wait, is it Rose of May? Well, its top three then!
When FF IX came out in Europe in February 2001, I was disappointed by the game as I was a great fan of FFVIII. In 2009 after playing FFIII and FFIV remakes on DS, I played FF 9 once again and i felt the depth of the characters and scenario and the magic it emanated from. And the masterpiece oF FFIX soundtrack is this tune. I must say that the whole soundtrack is unforgettable.
