  • Not meaning to be picky, but the red on the top of the rooster and hen is a COMB, not a CROWN. Nice looking chickens.

  • Is it okay if my dog barks once in awhile if people walk by the yard, once I get the chickens? Will they be stressed? She wont bark non-stop she is very quiet, but barks occasionally to warn the dogs over the fence. Is it okay?

  • Just an FYI for everybody, chickens are natural omnivores, which means they eat everything. They really should be eating more than grain. They should have LOTS of bugs, plenty of greens, fresh grains instead of dried, and they'll even eat slugs and even rats if they get a hold of them! Anybody advertising vegetarian fed chicken or eggs are just trying to cater to people who are vegetarian, not looking out for the real interests of the chickens.

  • Hey,i going to build a chicken coop and i dont know if the things i want to use is ok???how do I know?

  • @SpringMist1 You have to have a rooster to fertilize the eggs. The hens will lay eggs with or without a rooster but if you want new chickens all the time you'll need to get a rooster.

  • @BeckysFarmTV Im asking how many fertilized eggs will my hen lay.

  • @ThePoultrylover I made double, triple sure I could keep every and all animals BEFORE I bought my land!!

  • @liveyorehistory Hens are VERY temperamental. If you make any change it get's them all upset and they will stop laying. Just be patient and they will lay again.

  • @SpringMist1 Hens lay one egg a day with or without a rooster. You don't NEED a rooster.

  • The protein in chick starter isn't special, and most chick starter IS medicated. Just ask.
