The contrasts between noise and peace in London's heart. A day in London spent walking from park to park, from busy traffic and noise, to calm, peace and birdsong. The Barbican, St James' Park, Buckingham Palace, Admiralty Arch, Hyde Park and the Serpentine Gallery where there was a rehearsal taking place, the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain and finally on to the Royal Albert Hall where I heard Nigel Kennedy play the Elgar Violin Concerto. A perfect end to a perfect day.
