Resident Evil 2 (Gamecube Version) Review

Me giving my review on one of the most best-selling "survival horror" game Resident Evil 2. This is however for the Nintendo Gamecube. A lot of people don't know if there is anything different or not about this game compared to the original one for the Playstation, which was released in 1997. Then a number of ports carried on later like on the N64, Sega Dreamcast, and the PC.

Stupid noobs don't know what a good game is. All the kids care about is graphics. RE2 is an EPIC game. 8/10. I was a bigger fan of RE1 and 3. RE1 I give a 10/10 and RE3 9/10.

no no its not just a port enhanced graphics, your able to skip cutscenes, and the guy who says "Resident Evil" was changed to a different guy :)

i miss the old style of resident evil! i would be the happiest guy if they made an re 2 remake.. but now re became an stoopid shoot em up game :( its not even scary or survival, ur more like rambo ..

@alogan83 You're right, Im tired os stupid kids talking about Resident Evil when they don't even know who created the series, and the fools just go and buy games like Operation Raccoon City, none survival horror, just a call of duty rip-off based on RE, too bad Mikami left Capcom, the actual director only care about money.

There's no reason you can't make a classic RE game with the RE4/5 engine.

@alogan83 I reckon if Mikami was still at Capcom we could have seen a RE2 REmake.

Recent RE games, post-Mikami, have been action-orientated, and the likely reason for this is that classic RE is very much a hardcore game; limited ammo and saves, and having to figure the game out, are things which hardcore gamers love, but casual gamers hate.

I'd like a return to more exploration, going back to the game's roots while innovating, Dead Space shows what a modern RE game could be like.
