  • Awesome, thanks a lot, you just made up my mind. I'll consider saving up for the mpc1000, too, but at least I know I'm going with an Akai.

  • @vaguelyreptilian yeah, even better, the 1000 has all the editing you need; full on production studio in a box. with the MPC's you need to do the RAM upgrade though; Rolands SP series stream audio straight from flash cards, AKAI load all samples into RAM, I think Thomann are doing MPC 1000 with the RAM upgrade for around £560ish, really good price at the minute. All the best.

  • Im selling a SP 555 hardly used.. sp555forsale@yahoomedia.co.uk £350.00 Pay Pal only

    Thanks

  • I wish I would've seen this video last year. Thanks!

  • @TheLynxie No it's not, but if you don't want to use some of the best tools like autochop, go ahead.

  • @bartjuhh12 And that ideology is why the music nowadays sucks.

  • @TheLynxie There's nothing wrong with using the technology to your advantage.

  • Autochop.... You really think that making music should be determined by a machine making cuts? You might get unwanted noises in between.

Ever use the Kaoss Pad 3 cuts? My lord they are limiting.

  • FUCK AUTOCHOP.

  • FUCK AUTOCHOP.

  • @sinmelody I have a desktop piece of sh*t PC and I have only a better sound card and I could run a lot I have my SP-555, My Maschine, a Dr.-202 drum machine, 2 Numark Turntables and a basic DJ mixer, just to ask are you maxed on your RAM for your laptop? That's where to start, your laptop seems good enough to run more than 1 piece of equipment and BTW a Maschine don't cost no $1,600 Are you talking about the mac? F*ck yea that's the way to go 4 sure!!

  • @sinmelody right now my only computer is an hp netbook, no way is that running Maschine. If I get the money for a macbook or something beforehand, then I'd get maschine for sure but I'm an unemployed student, I don't have $1600.
