@lxcainxl Awesome. Thanks my friend. It's nice to share the system with everyone (especially those who weren't like-us and have NO clue what it was, you know? Ha ha). :)

No problem. I'm loving the show; lots of good trips down memory lane!

@lxcainxl Hey! Thanks for watching the vids and commenting (and, of course, subbing)! I hope you are enjoying the show. :)

I remember staring at the back of the box trying to figure out if this would be a fun or a fail (like Nightmare Creatures). It's tough making decisions based on 4 freeze frames. I'll have to pick this one up.

@PeterCSM730 Ha ha. Totally. And a lot of times...the TurboGrafx games that had actual "boxes" had crappy blurry pictures. You know? UGH!> :)

If there ever was a game where the metaphor "Don't judge a book by it's cover" takes all it's meaning it's Splash Lake... Any of you guys remember turning the box in the store to look at the screenshots? I still do. And I still remember buying it later from a bargain bin & saying `wow`when I finally played it... I was stupid back then, I missed a great game. Be smart, don`t judge this game by it`s screenshots :P

This game seems very similar to Namco's Dig Dug 2, so if you like this one, give the other a whirl. It's in the Namco Museum collection for the DS if you can't find it elsewhere.
