  • can we just use the liquid form honey instead of beeswax because i dont know if its available in our place. please reply ASAP

  • @aluquennie18 to be honest, I haven't a clue - might be worth experimenting with

  • wen meltng the beezwax can we just put the beezwax in on it own and melt it a lil becuz oil tends to get really hot, really fast & its really eazy to spoil the plant material in it.

& thank u very much for these video plz make ALOOOT more!

  • @choorijamadar this is where the douple bioler comes into its own as it only applies heat really really gently.

  • hey Rick, I was just wondering if you know reputable companies in the UK that sell organically or wild harvested herbs in bulk. Unfortunately I had no luck in finding trustworthy companies I can buy herbs from and the good ones I know of are mainly based in the states which is not worth buying from due to the shipping cost. Would appreciate your response Rick! thank you...

great vidz by the way as always,

  • @ismaelovic71 Sorry, not sure about organic suppliers. I use the appretices apothecary on eBay.

  • Is there any alternative to beeswax?

  • sweet almond oil is also used for the carrier part of the herbal infused oil that will then be ADDED to ointments, lip balms, etc... because sweet almond oil isn't as oily as the olive oil, it works better for the infused oils that will become ingredients for creams, lotions, balms, & salves. who wants a greasy layer of oily crap on your skin? I mean really. lol

  • @brammieboy yea but waxes r consiered fats...

  • I love your videos. Making herbal preps has been a hobby I never quite found the time for but I learnd a lot about medicinal plants and am a decent cook so it's all a matter of getting the right utensils and ingredients and time. Been looking for a Pyrex graded glass with a handle, impossible to find here in Paris. Will follow up on your channel. Cheers.

  • @ismaelovic71 sorry to butt into your question but I have recently found this shop in London "G Baldwin and Co" (google them, sorry for some reason I couldn't post the link). They also deliver and you can contact them for bulk buying. They also have a selection of organic herbs. Hope this helps!
