Our ravens in Melbourne sound completely different, for some reason. Rather than "aoooouuuuu", ours sound like "hoaaaaaarrrrr, hoaaaaarrrrr"

Yeah, most ravens make pretty loud, obnoxious calls-- they're very chatty birds, you know. The Aussie raven has one that lingers and has more carrying power. Normally I think it's neat to listen to them but this one was just a little strange...

It's so cute! And I love ravens, they're so pretty. This one sounds so different from the ones in the US; it kinda sounds like a calf. xD

Its a pretty amusing bird..but god, it makes an ugly call. =/ It reminds me of a pre-teen and like when you ask them how school was they're like "fiiiiiinnnnnnneeeee.." haha
