My friends and I did a version of Mama Who Bore Me Reprise from Spring Awakening for our school talent show this fall. Rather than focusing on the song being from the show, we did the song more as a girls group acapella, more as a performance than actually acting out what it was like from the show. I think this was the best time we performed it. It was all in tune and, minus a few slip ups in the choreography, it was very good. This was about the week before the actual talent show. Enjoy!

Brianna Shetler
Michele Gardiner
Jackie McAllister
Brenna McGoff

I'm not sure why it slows down the picture in the middle, but you can still hear the audio, which is the best part anyways. The video works on my computer, but when i upload it it slows down. sorry!

  • I would love love if you could get back together 2 years later (like NOW) and record again with better quality sound... like it would make me so happy inside. Maybe?

  • your voices are amazing, fair play!!

  • really good for just a school talent show

  • I think the song needs more intensity. While the song is very pretty, the actual meaning of the words is anything but. You are telling your mother, the person who gave you life, that she is also the the person who stripped away your right to live. Your mother is LYING to you! And you know it! And that is what fuels your thoughts behind this song, which is more of a striking inner monologue in the minds of the girls, than an actual SONG that usually has a plot going along with it.

  • surprisingly good job on the harmonies, needs a lot more expression though

  • it was good, but I didnt really feel the intensity that is felt during the actual show

  • this is good! :)
