@JackGambleIsHere That was in the books though which are based on the games, not actual bungie material. I read an interview of a guy from Bungie (Sorry I can't remember his first name but his last name is Lehto) and he confirms it is the chief and not Linda. I was just asking why you thought it was Linda because I see those comments a lot around youtube. Also it is an easter egg so it doesn't have to be perfect with the story...

@shoutingback09 Master chief was not in the loading bay of the pilar of autumn, he was in a freeze sleep tube in mid ship. Linda was seriously injured in the reach war, and was in the vicinity of the pillar of autumn and master chief was her partner. therefor it is not master chief.

@Taisonsvlog90210 I find that funny because the arbiter is right handed from what I have seen. I googled "halo 2 arbiter" and "halo 3 arbiter" and only found pictures of him right handed. Plus that arbiter was not the arbiter at the time of reach. The only left handed elite I can think of that you actually SEE in the games is the one with the cut mandibles on the left of his face and white armor.
