you people are a bunch of dicks with all the "what a stupid redneck, he should've killed it omg it has distemper" comments lol. first of all, these dudes didn't even know what the animal was at first let alone could they have properly diagnosed it as a raccoon with distemper...on the field...secondly, don't you think it was a nice enough thing to do to take it with them and try to help the fuckin thing rather than just stomp the little fucker out right there? i expected douchebaggery though haha

@TheShannonMontana From what ive read distemper is a viral infection which would also affect the brains and he wouldn`t be able to walk normally anymore.
In a way euthanizing the animal would be best so it wouldn`t suffer anymore.
It`s hard to notice it with wild animals on an early notice as you wouldn`t approach them normally unlike pets which can be helped at an early stage of it`s condition.
