@stripgaga The reason it sounded shitty is because the bassist didn't sing for some reason. The point of gang vocals is to have them blend in with each other for it to sound better. They know that they aren't good singers, that's why they used gang vocals.

Just the fact that they are both singing and playing an instrument is fucking badass.

@punkinboy100 they're not meant to be anything special when it goes melodic, and with that gang-vocal approach you really have to sing from the throat and push out a lot of air with can be tricky

vocals are good until the chorus

@cholo11 well from what i've heard of their past 2 cds, i haven't all of their previous songs, but it sounds like there's just growling. i don't know why they would choose to do singing if they can't do it. i mean i think it sounds great with the song on cd, but it bothers me when bands do things on cd they can't do live.

@stripgaga It's cool man, confusion happens when things are written. But yeah he sounds off in the choruses. It's probably hard to go on growling all night then singing when you aren't used to it.
i think his "singing" voice sounds fine live. it's nothing incredible, but it fits well into their sound.

The raspy chorus singing still sounds ok for me, although it's much cleaner on the CD of course..
But still, dave managed it..
